Bannatyne Fitness boosts service performance with Masternaut

Independent health club operator, Bannatyne Fitness is boosting its own performance with an innovative satellite vehicle tracking service from Masternaut Three X.

The Duncan Bannatyne-owned company will use the real-time system to monitor and manage its fleet of maintenance and service vehicles as they travel to and from the organisation’s 61 health clubs across the UK, enhancing driver safety and vehicle security.

As well as improving the safety of its drivers and fleet, the live-tracking innovation will also assist Bannatyne Fitness in reducing fuel consumption by monitoring driving styles, ensuring that every drop of fuel will count as the mobile staff travel from site to site.

With the system’s GreenerFleet technology the management team gains real-time visibility of engine idling, allowing them to take action to minimise fuel wastage as well as shrinking the fleet’s carbon footprint.

The advanced tracking also allows management to monitor every driver’s location in real time and help them to avoid congested roads and traffic jams, keeping the workload on schedule.

With this level of visibility, the maintenance team can be quickly redeployed to deal with urgent jobs.
